The YONC Server delivers instantly the information you need to any client you choose. We provide YONC Clients for various platforms. Using our API you may develop your own client, if you so choose, or ask us for a quote for a client for a specific platform.

YONC Clients

The range of YONC clients includes a web widget, portlets and the powerful YONC Plug-in for Lotus Notes 8. Clients have an admin interface and a feed reader. The YONC Server collects information from all your preferred sources, grouping it and filtering it according to the specific criteria, and presenting it in the feed reader. Filtered feeds can be picked up on any kind of reader, so users can stay in touch with what matters to them on PCs, mobile phones, TV portals, and PDAs.

The individual configurations – the feeds, groups and filters – are all stored on the YONC Server, so they can easily be restored in the feed reader if the installation is changed for any reason. And since business information is delivered and presented according to what is relevant to the individual, efficiency is improved, enabling more focused and effective working.

YONC Server

The YONC Server is the basis of the system, and can be provided as a service, or installed as an in-house server on your LAN, in which case it can access and filter material from internal sources – e-mail servers, Lotus Quickr, Lotus Domino databases and other information systems – as well as from the internet. The Server is mandatory in any organisation that wants to benefit from YONC.

The individual users or an administrator define the sources, how the information is grouped, and the filter criteria, using a straightforward web interface on the YONC Server or a separate client. YONC groups the source material together, filters it, and presents it as RSS-feeds containing only information that’s relevant to the user. Different users can have access rights to shared groups of data, or individual users can have their own groups. Users collaborate by sharing groups with colleagues, supporting each other to be more effective in their work.
